You might have already known that a Senior Citizens Welfare co operative Society has registered and started functioning in Thodupuzha Taluk. This Society, which is intended to empower the elderly people financially and mentally in accordance with the rapid changes happening in the economic and social spheres, is run by well experienced and efficient people from the agricultural, commercial, social and government sectors in and around Thodupuzha.
Anyone who is above 55 years are eligible according to the co operative rules, can be members of this society. Various projects for the integrated development of the members of this society which is under the direct control and auditing of the Registrar of Kerala Co operative societies are underway.
